DR.Hakiman adalah Doktor Manajemen Keuangan dari Universitas Padjajaran dan Praktisi Manajemen keuangan dan Manajemen Akunting. Beliau merupakan Partner dari PSM Consulting Group dan Sampai saat ini DR. Hakiman masih menjabat di beberapa perusahaan dengan Posisi Direktur seperti : PT. Suri Mandiri Perdana, PT. Anditama Infocon, PT. Mitra Besi Mandiri.
Sebelum menjadi Direktur DR. Hakiman sempat berkiprah dibeberapa Perusahaan antara lain : Th, 1988-1991 PT. Caltex Pacific Indonesia, sebagai : Completion Engineer, Production Engineer Area 2 and Area 3 Duri Steamflood, Production Engineer Minas Area (Deep Wells), Production Engineer in DSF Area 4, pada Jan 1993 – April 1993 sebagai Operation Manager PT. Mulia Graha Abadi, (Oil Services) Company, dan pada tahun 1993 -1994 sebagai Corporate Credit Division One Bank Exim, sebagai Asisten Direktur pada PT. Bisma Narendra, (GI Sheet Manufacture) di tahun 1994 -2004, sebagai Direktur PT. Solok Bara Adipratama, Coal Mining Company pada 1996 – 2002, sebagai Direktur PT. Bengkalis Niaga Samudra, Sea sand mining company pada 2001 – 2006 serta ditahn 1998-2006 di PT. Giat Utama Sukses, Investment Company.
DR. Hakiman juga mengajar di beberapa Universitas Swasta terkemuka di Indonesia dengan Materi Investasi, Manajemen Resiko, Perbankan, dll
