Overview

To provide participants with basic first aid knowledge and skills to support life in an emergency situation, until qualified assistance is available.

 

Course Content

On completion, participants will be able to demonstrate a competence in the theory and practice of the following.

• Basic Knowledge of First Aid
• Expired Air Resuscitation (EAR)
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Patient Assessment
• Management of unconscious Casualties
• Control of Bleeding
• Management of Shock
• Burn
• Musculoskeletal injury
• Lifting & Moving
• Emergency Case

 

Methode of Training

First aid course conducted in a class room environment with both practice and theory periods.
