OIL AND GAS PROCESSING PLANT DESIGN AND OPERATIONS TRAINING INTRODUCTION

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang rancangan (design), dan operasi dari plant pemrosesan minyak dan gas. Pelatihan akan diawali dengan pembahasan mengenai sifat dan karakteristik dari hydrocarbon sebagai komponen utama penyusun minyak dan gas. Selanjutnya akan dilakukan overview terhadap proses atau operasi yang digunakan dalam pengolahan minyak dan gas. Berdasarkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang sifat dan karakteristik minyak/gas dan proses atau operasi yang digunakan dalam pengolahan gas tersebut, maka pembahasan mengenai rancangan (design) dapat dilakukan. Dalam pelatihan ini, selain metode pemaparan, akan banyak dilakukan diskusi dan latihan-latihan perhitungan, sehingga peserta akan lebih banyak aktif. Beberapa software yang diperlukan dalam design juga akan digunakan dalam pelatihan ini, dan peserta diharapkan untuk aktif berlatih. Secara umum, setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta diharapkan akan mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang proses atau operasi serta rancangan (design) dalam pengolahan minyak dan gas.

Ir. M. Syahri, MT, Ph.D  is alumnus from UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNYK) and Institute of Technology (ITB) department of Chemical Engineering. Also alumnus from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) department Mechanical and Material Engineering. He has been as researcher at Oil and Gas; Renewable Energy Laboratory UPNYK, he is also being as Senior Surface Facility Engineer in some project and Training Instructor.
