ABSTRACk

Pengetahuan tentang Dasar-dasar Reservoir Engineering sangat diperlukan bagi para pelaku di  industri perminyakan, karena dari pengetahuan tentang reservoir engineering ini dapat utuk memperkirakan jumlah cadangan miayk dan gas bum yang ada di suatu lapangan atau formasi. Pelatihan ini didesain untuk peserta yang ingin mengetahui dasar-dasar analisa tentang voume reservoir, reservoir fluid flow, dan analisa mengenai performance histories.

OBJECTIVE

Dalam pelatihan ini akan dibahas mengenai :

  1. Depositional environments beserta physical principles dalam oil gas reservoir description.
  2.  Fluid properties
  3. Correlations are commonly used to determine these properties
  4. Reservoir fluid flow
  5. How to map and calculate reservoir volumes and pressures and the utility of these techniques.
  6.  Decline curves provide a useful technique for estimating future production.


OUTLINE

  1.  Depositional Environments : Clastic and carbonate rocks ,  Log profiles, sand development and continuity.
  2.   Gas Properties   : Single and two phase“z” and  formation volume factor, Compressibility, Correlations
  3. Crude Oil Properties  : Specific gravity, GOR, formation  volume factor and Correlations
  4. Fluid Flow in Reservoir Rocks  : Linear and radial flow , Flow in damaged wells, skin effect , Bounded and transient conditions
  5. Reservoir Volumes  : Oil and gas in place calculations , Types of isopach maps
  6. Reservoir Pressures  : Estimating reservoir continuity  , Measuring bottomhole pressures
  7. Decline Curves  : The Arp’s curves , Characteristic shapes , The effect of the b-exponent value
