ABSTRACT

Saat ini sistem turbin gas telah banyak diterapkan untuk berbagai keperluan seperti mesin penggerak generator listrik, mesin industri, pesawat terbang dan lainnya. Keunggulan sistem turbin gas diantaranya adalah dapat dipasang dengan cepat dan biaya investasi yang relatif rendah jika dibandingkan dengan instalasi turbin uap dan motor diesel untuk pusat tenaga listrik. Meskipun dalam beberapa hal sedikit lebih rumit jika dibandingkan system turbin uap.

Sebagai alat yang tersusun atas komponen-komponen utama seperti air inlet section, compressor section, combustion section, turbine section, dan exhaust section, kinerja Gas-turbine engine haruslah terjaga reliabilitasnya. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya suatu pemahaman yang memadai dari para teknisi dan operator dalam mengoperasikan gas-turbine engine agar keandalannya dan performanya tetap terjaga.

  3. Characteristic and Performance of Gas Turbine
    – Application and simulation of gas turbine uses
    – Analysis of trouble possibility and way of handle it
    – Technical and economical consideration for selection and uses of gas turbine
  4. Maintenance Management
    – Basic of maintenance management system
    – Maintenance program
    – Hot components and limit of hot components repair
  5.  Gas Turbine Vibration
    – Vibration and introduction to balancing of rotating equipment
  6. Testing and Performance
    – Testing facilities
    – Turbine performance determination and calculation
    – Acceptance and performance testing
    – Performance monitoring
  7. Therefore, after successfully completed the 4-day course the participant
    is expected to:

–  Understand gas turbine general system, function and operation cycle
–  Able to interpret gas turbine construction with general function of major sections
–  Well understand common problem in operation of gas turbine
–  Have good knowledge of failure in gas turbine
–  Have basic knowledge of vibration problem generated by rotating equipment
–  Have basic understanding of field inspection and knowledge of maintenance plan of gas engine
–  Have good skill of gas turbine performance monitoring and its troubleshooting
–  Understand basic concept of gas turbine performance parameter
